This is my suggestion for a few new gems that could be interested to have added to the game, they shouldn't have too much of a impact on the game other then that they would make things abit less frustrating when constantly breaking your items or continously failing to stat an item (we all know how it feels to add a stat, remove a stat, add a stat, remove a stat), and with how difficult some things are to obtain due to sheer rng, such as four stat jewelry, I feel like these gems would make the game a lot more enjoyable to play.

  • Suggestion

 

  • Supreme Sorcery Gem
    • Usage: Allows the player to select what stat the gem should grant at a ~90% success chance of adding the selected stat, without the risk of removing stats.
    • How to obtain: Created through 75 sorcery shards, shards would be obtained through failing to stat items and the supreme gem should only be useable on items with no current stats existing on the item.

 

  • Supreme Magic Gem
    • Usage: Allows the player to select what stat the gem should grant at a ~80% success chance of adding the selected stat, without the risk of removing stats.
    • How to obtain: Created through 75 magic shards, shards would be obtained through failing to stat items and the supreme gem should only be useable on items with less than two existing stats on the item.

 

  • Supreme Divine Gem
    • Usage: Allows the player to select what stat the gem should grant at a ~75% success chance of adding the selected stat, without the risk of removing stats.
    • How to obtain: Created through 150 divine shards, shards would be obtained through failing to stat items and the supreme gem should only be useable on items with atleast two existing stats on the item.

 

  • Supreme Sephiroth Choice Gem | requires the advanced crafting suggestion to be implemented
    • Usage: Allows the player to select what stat to upgrade without the risk of breaking the stat, the cap of this gem should be higher then the regular supreme sephiroth gem.
    • How to obtain: The gem should be created through the use of the refining production skill ~lv90, 75 sephiroth choice shards, 100 sephiroth shards, gem dust, star gem and a regular supreme sephiroth gem. The sephiroth choice gem shards would be obtained through breaking items using sc's, one shard should be given per item broken with the sc along with seph shards normally given minus the sc shard (if you normally gained 12 seph shards, you would instead gain 1 sc shard + 11 seph shards IF a sc is used to break the item)

 

  • Eonic Gem | requires the advanced crafting suggestion to be implemented
    • Usage: This would be used to directly upgrade g11 weapons into eonic weaponry (use the gem on the item and attempt upgrade).
    • How to obtain: The eonic gem should be crafted through the use of blacksmithing and refining, combining one of each statting gem, upgrading gem and trans gem along with gem dust and steel to create a single eonic gem.

 

  • Soul Gem | requires the reworked soul charm suggestion to be implemented
    • Usage: The soul gem should be used to attempt upgrading the soul charm, becoming more difficult to upgrade the higher level the soul charm is. (cannot break)
    • How to obtain: Soul gems should be created through combining soul shards, requiring 10 shards to create one gem.

 

  • Reaper's Gem | requires the reworked soul charm suggestion to be implemented
    • Usage: This gem would work the same way as the soul gem except with a much higher success rate of upgrading the soul charm.
    • How to obtain: One of these gems should be given to every player who's in the party that kills the reaper in ghost castle, two for the player killing the reaper.

 

  • Junior Delphiroth Gem:
    • Usage: Allows the user to remove a stat of their choice but with a possibility to fail removing it (~40-50% success rate).
    • How to obtain: These gems should be dropped throughout the Delphiroth dungeons across every floor. boss mobs, empowered mobs and generally stronger mobs should all have these gems on their drop table at low odds (abit higher then earring drop chances), this includes but is not limited to: v1 eggs, v1 jr. devil(s), v2 eggs, v2 devil, v3 bosses, v4 bosses and chest loot.
    • Side note: All of the quest mobs such as the transformation quest devil should not drop said item so that it does not get camped and makes people unable to do the quest. Another way these gems could dropped is to just add them to the majority of the mobs spawned in the delphiroth dungeons at a very low drop rate, similar to how cross and mutated gems work, as having them placed on boss and empowered mobs could lead to these mobs being camped and players become unable to level up.
