Christmas Event
The Christmas Event is now over, we hope everyone enjoyed this year's event.
General Changes
- Additional localization updates/changes.
- Alseides Earring now drops from East Ladianes Champion monsters that are level 200 or higher.
- Fixed an issue where inspecting a player using a different language could cause their equipped items to appear in that player's language instead of your own.
- Fixed a visual issue where items with stats above level 99 incorrectly displayed a 0% upgrade rate.
- Fixed an issue where transmogged items and/or equipment with an active cosmetic displayed incorrect upgrade rates.
- Fixed an issue where transmogged items could sometimes display empty stat slots.
- Fixed an issue where red and blue magic defense percentages were displayed incorrectly (they appeared x10 higher than intended. For example, -80% instead of -8%).
- Red Touch on the Pyrium Staff and Void Staff has been updated to match the changes previously placed on the test server.
- This means that the Pyrium Staff and Void Staff now apply Red Touch with a 100% rate, but lasting only 1 second.
- These changes were available on the test server for some time. However, we received limited feedback beyond the players who originally proposed the change and a small number who opposed it.
- Based on player feedback, this change may be further adjusted in the future, such as by adding a short cooldown to Red Touch or, if necessary, being reverted through a player poll.
- Please note that regardless of player opinion on this change, this is a temporary change until we are able to more adequately address Red Mage damage and magic defense issues as a whole.
- Implemented changes that allow us to more easily and frequently extract current Coliseum leaderboard data.
- Fixed a rare issue that could cause players to lose their buffs or debuffs if they switched channels while their client crashed.
- Fixed a rare issue that could cause a channel to crash unexpectedly without any available error reporting.
- This issue has occurred sporadically over days, weeks, and/or months for a long time.
- The issue is related to monsters, so please let us know if you notice any problems.
- If any issues do arise, they would most likely be related to monster movement.
Coliseum Changes
- Fixed an issue that caused players to teleport back to the Coliseum starting location if the Nation War started during a Coliseum Event.
- Fixed an issue that caused players to be teleported to their respawn location at the end of the Coliseum Event, even if they were no longer in a battle.
- We have added match mechanisms to determine whether a player contributed to the Coliseum Event.
- Players who are marked as not having contributed will be considered AFK and will not receive rewards from the event.
- We added the ability to base this on a variety of different checks (movement, potion usage, damage, etc.). However, for now, only damage checks are enabled.
- We've added the ability to automatically block players from participating in future events if they are marked as AFK for two events in a row.
- In these situations, players will be blocked from participating in the next four Coliseum Events.
- Honor Badges now deliver in exactly the same way as Conquest Badges for this event, meaning they are delivered at the end of your battle rather than at the end of the entire Coliseum Event.
- If you are offline or on another channel, these will be mailed to you.
- All of the above changes were made in a way that allows them to be easily transferred to other events when needed (such as Hau).
